Chattanooga, TN — The Chattanooga Kaistorms suffered their first defeat of the season last night, falling 4-0 to current league leaders Tennessee Tempo in a challenging contest at Howard Stadium.
In a match that tested their resilience, the Storm boys conceded a late goal in the first half, only to be hit with another strike shortly after the restart. Despite flashes of brilliance and a determined team effort, the gap proved too wide to close against a clinical Tennessee side.
Head Coach Kwame offered an honest reflection post-match:
“The team showed moments of grit, desire, and individual brilliance—especially from Burke, Chandler, and Charles—but our efforts fell short. Tennessee Tempo is a strong side, and we hope to learn from tonight’s mistakes, put this game behind us, and prepare for the next challenge. We’re a young team, and there’s going to be a lot of growth throughout the season. Our goal remains to make the playoffs in our inaugural season, and we believe we have the potential to achieve that.”
Despite the result, the Kaistorms continue to show promise in their debut campaign. The team is determined to regroup, work hard in training, and return to winning ways in the matches ahead.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the incredible Kaistorms fans who showed up in numbers and brought their energy to Howard Stadium.
We’ll see you at our next home game!
