Chattanooga Kaistorms Secure Dramatic 4-3 Comeback Victory on the Road Against Tennessee United SC

Gallatin, TN – [May 25, 2025] – In a thrilling UPSL clash, Chattanooga Kaistorms demonstrated heart and resilience as they rallied from behind to secure a dramatic 4-3 victory over Tennessee United Soccer Club (TUSC) on the road in Gallatin, TN.
TUSC took an early lead, scoring in just the 2nd minute of play. However, the Storms responded with determination, leveling the score through a composed penalty kick converted by Willem Cooley. The momentum swung in Kaistorms’ favor before halftime when Man of the Match Ethan Stewart capitalized on a defensive error, coolly slotting the ball into the bottom corner to make it 2-1.
TUSC came out strong after the break, applying pressure and eventually equalizing to bring the score to 2-2. Despite the setback, the Storms continued to push for a winner, but it was TUSC who found the net next, reclaiming the lead at 3-2.
Undeterred, Chattanooga Kaistorms turned to their bench for inspiration. Substitutes made an immediate impact, with Brett Simpson netting the equalizer off a perfectly placed assist from Josh Bonk. With minutes left in the game, Ethan Stewart turned provider, assisting Maddaux Seal for the decisive goal that sealed a memorable 4-3 win.
Head Coach Kwame Appiah praised the resilience of his squad:
