Chattanooga Kaistorms FC Clinch Playoffs in Inaugural Season with Dominant 5-0 Victory Over Lexington SC Youth

Chattanooga, TN — Chattanooga Kaistorms FC made a powerful statement on Saturday evening, securing a commanding 5-0 win over Lexington SC Youth at Soddy Daisy High School to clinch a playoff spot in the highly competitive KY/TN Conference during their inaugural season in the UPSL.

From the opening whistle, Kaistorms FC dominated possession and created early chances, setting the tone for what would be a decisive and clinical performance. The team’s relentless pressure and cohesive team play paved the way for the lopsided victory, capping off an impressive stretch in which they’ve won four of their last five matches.

Captain of the night, Jon Finley, reflected on the historic milestone after the match:

“To make the playoffs in the first season of the club is a testament to the players and the coaches we have here. Not only making the playoffs but winning 4 of the last 5 to make it shows how hard this team has worked since day 1 and the growth we’ve had. It’s a great foundation for the club to continue to build on.”

Head Coach “Coach Kwame” praised the performance and the collective effort:

“I was very proud of our team effort and being able to utilize our chances. We could have definitely scored a few more goals, but I am very happy with the result. This is a tough conference and for us to excel in it is a testament to what we have been trying to reach all season.”

With the playoff berth secured, Chattanooga Kaistorms FC will wrap up their regular season campaign on Friday, June 20th, with an away match against Leopards FC in Bowling Green, KY.

As the team eyes a deep playoff run, the hope is to bring postseason action to their home ground, giving loyal fans the opportunity to witness history firsthand.

“We really want to play our playoff game in front of our fans,” said Coach Kwame. “We hope we can have that opportunity to share it with them at home!”
